Acceptable Use Policy

What may not be done through Brandloop. Brandloop generates brand content and publishes it to real audiences on real platforms, so this policy is stricter about deception and platform manipulation than a typical creative tool's policy.

Scope

This policy applies to everything done through Brandloop: the app, the API, MCP tools, automations, and any channel you connect. Account owners are responsible for use by their team members, agents, and API keys — actions taken with your credentials are your actions. Capitalized terms have the meanings in the Terms of Service. Read this policy together with the AI-Content Disclosure.

Prohibited content

Do not use Brandloop to create, upload, store, or publish content that:

Child safety (zero tolerance). Sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors in any way, real or synthetic. We remove such content, terminate the account, and report to NCMEC and law enforcement as required by law.

Non-consensual intimate imagery. Depicts any identifiable person in intimate or sexually explicit contexts without their documented consent, real or synthetic. We remove validly reported NCII within 48 hours of a complete report.

Impersonation and synthetic likeness. Uses a real person's face, voice, name, or likeness — including via AI generation or editing — without that person's documented consent or a legal right you can demonstrate. This includes public figures. "It's a public photo" is not consent.

Deceptive media and fabricated reality. Presents AI-generated or AI-altered material as authentic in a way likely to deceive: fabricated events, statements, or endorsements; fake reviews or testimonials; synthetic "customer" personas; content misrepresenting its origin. Marketing dramatization is fine; fabricated proof is not.

Civic deception. Misleads about elections, voting procedures, census participation, or civic processes, or deceptively attributes statements to candidates or officials.

Fraud and scams. Enables phishing, advance-fee fraud, fake investment or crypto schemes, counterfeit goods, or deceptive commercial practices.

Harassment, hate, and violence. Harasses, threatens, or degrades individuals; promotes hatred or discrimination against protected groups; incites or glorifies violence.

Privacy and biometric violations. Discloses private personal data without authority; infers or classifies sensitive attributes of identifiable people; builds biometric identifiers from uploaded media.

Intellectual-property infringement. Uses trademarks, copyrighted works, or trade dress you have no right to use — including uploading a competitor's brand assets to generate confusingly similar content.

Regulated-advice misuse. Presents outputs as professional legal, medical, or financial advice, or uses outputs for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals (credit, employment, housing, insurance) without qualified human review.

Platform manipulation

Because Brandloop schedules and publishes to connected social channels, the following are violations of this policy, not just of the platforms' rules:

  • Fake engagement: purchasing or simulating followers, likes, comments, or views.
  • Coordinated inauthentic behavior: networks of accounts misrepresenting identity or origin, sockpuppets, astroturfing.
  • Spam: bulk, repetitive, or untargeted publishing that a reasonable platform operator would treat as spam, or use of Brandloop to evade a platform's rate, dedup, or quality enforcement.
  • Ban evasion: publishing to or through accounts created to evade a platform suspension.
  • Violating the terms of any Connected Account platform or of our AI Providers. If a platform takes enforcement action against content Brandloop published for you, we may mirror that enforcement in Brandloop.

Service and billing integrity

Do not: probe, bypass, or overload security, safety, metering, or rate-limit controls; share, resell, or pool access or credits outside your organization; use stolen payment instruments or launder charges; scrape the service; reverse engineer except where law permits; use outputs or the service to train, fine-tune, or benchmark competing AI models or datasets; or remove, alter, or obscure provenance metadata, watermarks, or content credentials that Brandloop or its AI Providers attach to outputs.

Upstream provider policies

Brandloop's generation runs on third-party AI Providers (currently fal.ai and OpenAI models). Their usage policies apply to your use through Brandloop, and we enforce them. Where a provider's policy is stricter than this one, the stricter rule wins for content routed through that provider.

Reporting

Report violations, or content that depicts you without consent, to support@brandloop.app with the subject "AUP report". For NCII reports, include enough detail to identify the content; we act within 48 hours of a complete report.

Enforcement

We apply the least severe measure that credibly addresses the violation, and we escalate on repetition:

  1. Warning with an explanation of the violation.
  2. Content removal and unscheduling of pending publishes.
  3. Feature or rate limits (for example, generation or publishing paused; API/MCP keys restricted).
  4. Workspace suspension while we investigate.
  5. Termination of the account.

We skip straight to removal, suspension, or termination — without prior notice — for child-safety violations, NCII, credible threats, fraud in progress, security attacks, legal requirements, or risk to our providers or other customers. Where the law requires, we preserve and report evidence.

Money consequences follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy: for-cause termination forfeits prepaid fees and unused credits; if we ever remove access without cause, the unused balance is refunded pro rata.

Appeals. Except for child-safety and legal-mandate actions, you can appeal any enforcement decision by replying to the enforcement notice or emailing support@brandloop.app within 14 days. A human reviews appeals; automated flags alone do not decide terminations.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product, providers, platforms, or law change. Material changes are announced per the Terms of Service; continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
